New and Emerging Voices in Constitutional Law Symposium 2026
On 22 April, UCD Sutherland School of Law hosted the New and Emerging Voices in Constitutional Law Symposium 2026. The Symposium is aimed at PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, lecturers and assistant professors who have not held an academic position for more than five years, providing an opportunity for emerging researchers to gain experience in presenting their work, to engage with research currently being undertaken by peers in the constitutional law field and to network with other scholars at a similar career stage.
Mr Justice Hogan chaired a panel which discussed “Institutions, Interpretation and the Evolving Constitutional Order”. The participants in such panel included Mr Charlie Feldman (Scottish Parliamentary Counsel), Mr Maxime Zigrand (Researcher at UCD Sutherland School of Law) and Dr Niels Graaf (Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam). This is the third year in which the Symposium was held, an event which is co-organised by Professor Eoin Carolan and Dr Seána Glennon.
