The commencement of the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act, 2015 has been delayed and this means that the amendment to Section 21 (Appointment of Care Representatives in case of a person not having full capacity), Nursing Support Scheme Act, 2009 is also delayed. As a result of this, the current procedure for making Care Representative applications to County Registrar Courts will continue until further notice.
